BROOMFIELD, Colo. — A portion of US 287 south of Northwest Parkway will be closed next week as the BNSF Railway works to repair a damaged railroad crossing.
Beginning at 6 a.m. on Monday, March 21 and continuing through Friday, March 25, both directions of the highway will be closed near Rock Creek Farm and the Ruth Roberts Preserve in Broomfield.
Those who need to drive in the area can take either Sheridan Boulevard to the east or Midway Boulevard to the west as a detour around the closure.
During the closure, the BNSF Railroad will be working on a weeklong project to repair a railroad crossing along the highway that was damaged.
