A crash has fully closed US 34 west of Loveland

LOVELAND - US 34 has reopened after it was closed in both directions for several hours Monday morning due to a crash involving two semi-trucks.

The highway was closed at County Road 22C just west of Loveland as crews worked to clean up the crash and a fuel spill, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

It reopened around 9:45 a.m. It's unclear what caused the crash.
