A snowy Friday around Colorado has led to icy travel conditions along with several crashes and road closures around the state.

CRASHES | SB I-25

Just after 11 a.m., Colorado State Patrol said there were multiple crashes on Interstate 25 near Greenland just south of Castle Rock. CSP Trooper Gary Cutler confirmed that a total of 24 vehicles were involved in multiple wrecks, but no injuries have been reported.

The left lane of I-25 was closed near Greenland for hours, but reopened at about 3:30 p.m. CSP said delays and backups are still impacting the area.

Colorado State Patrol is asking commuters to avoid that stretch of road as the crashes and heavy traffic have clogged the road to a point that crews have not been able to clear the road.
