2 more check-in counters at DIA move Wednesday

This is the third week of airline check-in counter relocations in the Jeppesen Terminal.

DENVER — Denver International Airport (DIA) will relocate the airline check-in counters for JetBlue Airways and Volaris by Wednesday morning.

Both airlines will move from the north end of Level 6 west to the south end of Level 6 east.

DIA said the airline relocations are necessary to accommodate construction of new security checkpoints as part of the Great Hall Project.

Phase 2 of the project will build new security checkpoints on the northwest and northeast corners of Level 6 and eventually these airlines will be relocated into permanent spaces similar to those of United and Southwest, according to DIA.

Last week, Boutique Air, Denver Air Connection and Southern Airways Express moved from the north end of Level 6 east to the south end of Level 6 east.

Two weeks ago, the counters of Spirit Airlines and Delta Airlines were moved. Delta moved to the west side of Level 6 near Door 612 and Spirit moved to the west side near Door 616.

Additional airline relocations including Allegiant, American Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Sun Country Airlines and all international carriers will take place through October.
