Interstate 70 has reopened between Copper Mountain and Vail after the stretch of highway was closed for several hours Friday due adverse road conditions.

Westbound I-70 at Beaver Brook to the Eisenhower Tunnel has also reopened.

The Colorado Department of Transportation said traction laws are in effect both directions of Interstate 70 from Silverthorne to Georgetown.

Loveland Pass remains closed due to an avalanche hazard.
