DENVER — Denver International Airport is currently experiencing the busiest summer season in its history.

Passenger traffic at Denver International Airport (DIA) broke the record for the busiest May in airport history with more than six million passengers.

May was also the second-busiest month in the airport’s history, after July 2018.

In May, new routes began to Mobile, Burlington, Green Bay, and Frankfurt, Germany.

This summer, DIA encourages passengers to arrive at least two-hours before their flight and take advantage of free services like free bag check and events at the airport's outdoor plaza.
