Gradual clearing this evening, sunshine and 60s Saturday

A cool gray day to end the week as a cool front sweeps south and east across the state. Low clouds and fog will give way to clearing tonight, warmer weekend ahead

COLORADO, USA — FORECAST BY: Meteorologist Kathy Sabine

TODAY AT A GLANCE: A cold front swept across eastern Colorado last night ushering in a cooler airmass with low clouds, fog and drizzle.

A cool start to Friday with morning temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Afternoon highs struggled to reach the mid 50s with abundant cloud cover, average highs are closer to 70 degrees this time of year. 

This evening, gradual clearing with light northeast winds turning calm. Isolated foothill showers are possible early. Temperatures will slide into the upper 30s overnight. 

Saturday sunshine and mid 60s. Sunday through next Tuesday sunshine with highs in the lower to middle 70s.

We are tracking a storm for the middle of next week. There will be cooler wethar coming and perhaps snow for the mountains. Models have Denver dry for now on Wednesday with increasing cloud cover and cooler highs in the 50s. Stay tuned!

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and warmer, high 72; mostly clear overnight, low 43.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny and mild, high 74; mostly clear overnight, low 45.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and mild, high 76; partly cloudy overnight, low 42.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy and cooler with a few showers possible, high 58; mostly clear overnight, low around 40.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, high 66; mostly clear overnight, low 40.
