TONIGHT: Scattered strong storms will continue late into the night east of Akron and Limon on the plains. A brief light shower, thunder and lightning for the metro area this evening with some clearing late and areas of patchy fog early tomorrow.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny with a chance for a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Morning lows from 57° to 62°, afternoon highs from 84° to 89°.
While storms will be quick and modest here over the Front Range Friday several very strong storms are possible over the eastern plains.
SATURDAY: Sunny, windy and hot. Morning lows from 56° to 61°, afternoon highs from 88° to 93°.
SUNDAY: Sunny, windy and very hot. Morning lows from 63° to 67°, afternoon highs from 93° to 98°.
MONDAY: Cloudy and much cooler. Morning lows from 52° to 57°, afternoon highs from 74° to 79°.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and warm. Morning lows from 53° to 58°, afternoon highs from 83° to 88°.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, breezy, and hot. Morning lows from 55° to 59°, afternoon highs from 88° to 92°.
