Tentative opening dates for Colorado's ski resorts

Snow enthusiasts, rejoice! Denver Business Journal has compiled the snow-dependent opening days for Colorado's largest ski resorts for the 2018-19 season.

Snow has started falling in the Rockies and skiers and snowboarders are itching to hit the slopes.

Here are the snow-dependent opening days for Colorado's largest ski resorts, according to their websites unless otherwise noted:

  1. Arapahoe Basin Ski Area: Mid-October
  2. Aspen Highlands: Nov. 22
  3. Aspen Mountain: Dec. 8 (according to Colorado Ski Country USA)
  4. Beaver Creek Resort: Nov. 21
  5. Breckenridge Ski Resort: Nov. 9
  6. Buttermilk: Dec. 8 (according to Colorado Ski Country USA)
  7. Cooper: Dec. 8
  8. Copper Mountain Resort: Nov. 16
  9. Crested Butte Mountain Resort: Nov. 22
  10. Echo Mountain: Nov. 23
