DENVER — A new record high was set for Denver and the temperature is expected to rise a few more degrees.
In a Tweet the National Weather Service said the temperature at Denver International Airport had reached 87 degrees around 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
That's a new record for May 10. The old record of 86 degrees was set in 1991. The NWS said it expected the temperature to continue to rise into the afternoon.
