Landspout tornado touches down outside of Greeley

Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams shared photos on Facebook showing damage to a structure.

WELD COUNTY, Colo. — A weak landspout tornado touched down outside of Greeley on Wednesday evening, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Boulder – and dozens of photos and videos sent in from 9NEWS viewers. 

The tornado touched down around 7 p.m. 

Initially, NWS said no damage or injuries were reported, but Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams shared photos on Facebook showing damage to a structure near County Road 47 and Highway 392.
