DENVER — Scattered storms rolled into the Front Range foothills Friday afternoon, bringing with them hail and damaging winds. The same storm led to tornadoes in Nebraska.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for Northeastern Colorado until 8 p.m.
A Tornado Watch is in effect for Yuma County until 10 p.m.
People in Northern Colorado have already reported severe sized hail in their neighborhoods.
The threat for severe weather shifts east of Colorado Saturday. Isolated showers and a rumble of thunder is still possible Saturday afternoon, however storms will not turn severe.
Cooler weather is on tap next week with highs in the mid-50s Monday and Tuesday.
