Chances for snow across Colorado the week of Thanksgiving

Denver is not far off from our average snowfall for the season. So far, we are about an inch below normal, according to measurements taken out at DIA.

After yesterday's snowfall, mild temperatures take back over for today. Sunny skies will prevail across the state with highs in the lower to middle 50s along the Front Range.

The next storm system arrives Thursday, bringing snow to Colorado's mountains during the afternoon on Thanksgiving. There will be a small chance for a flurry or two along and east of I-25 during the evening. Most locations along the Front Range will be dry with increasing clouds.

Up to an inch of new snow will fall across the mountains with this next system. Little to no accumulation is expected along and east of I-25.

Thanksgiving Day will be dry with partly cloudy skies during the day and seasonal highs in the mid to upper 40s. Isolated snow showers will be possible late in the afternoon and evening.
