2024 Colorado Presidential Primary Election Results
Colorado held its 2024 presidential primary election on Tuesday, March 5. Colorado was one of 15 states with a Super Tuesday primary in 2024. President Joe Biden is running for reelection as a Democrat. Republican candidates include former President Donald Trump and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.
The Colorado Supreme Court ruled in December that Trump was not allowed on the Colorado primary ballot. But the justices stayed the ruling if it was appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court by a certain date, which it was. Therefore, Trump's name was kept on the Republican ballot.
Colorado's primary election for other offices, including the state's eight seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, will be held in June.
