Colorado dropping QR codes from ballots

When you vote in person in Colorado, the voting machines print out your choices and a QR code. The votes are embedded in that code. The secretary of state's office says a human can't verify what choices were embedded on that code, so they're getting rid of them. There is no evidence that there's been an issue with the codes, however.
