MLB launches website to stream Colorado Rockies games

The Colorado Rockies will have a new online streaming service that will show the club's games this season.

DENVER — The Colorado Rockies have a new online streaming service to broadcast the club's games this season.

Major League Baseball has launched the website Rockies.TV to stream all Rockies games this season in the Colorado area.

Rockies.TV will cost $19.99 per month or $99.99 for a year to stream Rockies games in the Colorado area.

There will also be a bundle with MLB.TV for all teams and Rockies.TV for $199.99 for a year.

The Rockies' streaming service will also be available for a free seven-day trial.

Rockies.TV is only available for those in the Colorado area. Fans outside the Colorado market will need to subscribe to MLB.TV.

No cable network option has been announced by the Rockies or Major League Baseball for the 2024 season.

"By offering a direct-to-consumer streaming option on Rockies.TV in the Club’s territory, MLB is able to lift the blackout for Rockies games previously distributed on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain," said Major League Baseball.

A report in The Athletic last week said Major League Baseball was preparing to broadcast the games for the Rockies, San Diego Padres, and Arizona Diamondbacks.

“MLB will broadcast three teams’ games this year: the Diamondbacks, Padres and Rockies,” said The Athletic's Evan Drellich. “Those three teams’ digital rights, therefore, should be available for 2025.”

The longtime cable television home of the Rockies, AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain, shut down in October 2023.

Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced in August 2023 that the AT&T SportsNet regional sports networks would either be shut down or sold.
