What's it take to wrestle a steer?

At 6' 4", 240 pounds one might expect Jason Miller to bark out demands like a Marine drill instructor. But the soft-spoken cowboy is much more of a thinker than a barker… and he can take down a steer like nobody's business.

World Champion Steer Wrestler Jason Miller stopped by the 9News studios to chat with Susie Wargin for the 6:20 Sidebar. He's competing in the rodeo on Tuesday afternoon at 2pm at the Stock Show and talked about his tactics and preparation. To see the interview, visit the video link to the left of this article.

Jason will also be signing autographs at the 9News booth from 11-Noon on Tuesday. Stop by and talk to him about his love for history books and his home town of Lance Creek, Wyoming (population 10). When he's not steer wrestling, Jason works a cattle ranch with his father and brother.
