9NEWS and My20 are making the switch to digital television on April 16.

Starting Friday, the Americorps volunteers will visit homes in the metro area to help hook up the converter boxes needed by some people so they can see the digital signal.

You can schedule an appointment by calling 303-620-9129 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Before you call, you must first already have an antenna and a converter box.

If you need to sign up for a converter box coupon or replacement coupon for one that has expired, you can visit www.9news.com/dtv/ or call 1-888-DTV-2009.
