Teens arrested for giving marijuana to young kids in video

WATUGA, Tex. - A Texas Police team says it's the most disturbing video it has ever seen.

Police say they recently found home video of a 17-year-old and his friend coaxing his 2 and 5-year-old nephews to smoke pot.

In the video, one of the older boys can be heard asking the young children if they have the munchies.

Seventeen-year-old Demetris McCoy and 18-year-old Vanswan Polty were arrested after the tape was found.

Officers say at one point the video shows McCoy lighting the joint for the 2-year-old.

Police say this wasn't the first time the kids were pressured into narcotics.

“The 2-year-old child, he's actually inhaling it,” said Chief Bruce Ure of the Watauga Police. “He's got a raspy voice. He gives all the indications that this is not his first time, which is incredibly sad."

Both of the young brothers seen in the video are now in foster care the teens are being charged with injury to a child.
