9NEWS Forecast News

Forecast by: Meteorologist Ashton Altieri Last updated:

The chance for thunderstorms is now over in the metro area however we may see patchy fog and drizzle or even light rain develop in some areas by daybreak.

Overnight low temperatures will be in the upper 50s.

The Fourth of July should start with a mix of clouds and limited sun along with patchy fog and drizzle. Otherwise it should be dry through midday before showers and thunderstorms develop late in the afternoon. Some storms may be strong or severe and the chance for thunderstorms will continue through the evening. There is a 50/50 chance for thunderstorms after sunset tomorrow so you will want to have a backup plan if your plans include watching an outdoor fireworks display.
