A Costco Business Center is set to open later this fall

KUSA - Costco Wholesale Corp. plans to open a business center in a vacant Lowe's store in Denver's Alameda Square shopping center later this fall.

The Costco Business Center will join 10 other similar Business Centers that Costco (NASDAQ: COST) operates across the country and will be the first in the Denver area. The stores feature an expanded selection of business products, pallet and truckload pricing, and are closed on Sundays. They are open to all members of Costco.

According to a presentation made at the Denver City Council's Business Development Committee on Tuesday, the Costco location will employ 150 people, who will earn between $15-$25 per hour. The Alameda Square location was chosen because of its proximity to I-25, Santa Fe Drive and Sixth Avenue.
