Columbine girls basketball moving on in playoffs after beating Rocky Mountain

The Rebels and Lobos battled in the first round of the 5A playoffs on Tuesday night.

LITTLETON, Colo. — The playoffs are finally here and the Columbine girls basketball team is moving on. 

In the first round of the 5A playoffs on Tuesday night, the No. 23 seeded Rebels knocked off No. 42 Rocky Mountain by a score of 71-42 to advance to the round of 32 on Friday night. 

Columbine will travel to face No. 10 seeded Fountain-Fort Carson with a spot in the Sweet 16 on the line.
