Surviving a stroke: Local woman shares her story in documentary

Maggie Whitum had a headache. She thought she was dehydrated. She felt off-balance and her speech was off. She delayed getting to the ER until the next day. Within 48 hours, she was on a ventilator, fighting for her life. She had suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, where a blood vessel in her brain started to bleed in her brainstem.
