A Greeley-based cattle feeding operation — which bills itself as the largest in the world — has been sold for $200 million.

Five Rivers Cattle Feeding has been sold by JBS USA to Pinnacle Asset Management, a New York-based asset management firm.

Five Rivers said it has a feeding capacity for more than 920,000 head of cattle and has operations in Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, and Idaho.

“The sale of the Five Rivers Cattle Feeding assets and farms is a strategic move that will allow JBS USA to more efficiently deploy working capital and focus on the company’s core food and value-added products businesses,” said Andre Nogueira, CEO of JBS USA, in a statement, adding that the current Five Rivers management team will remain in place.
