Cold case: Murder of man shot in driveway 4 years ago still a mystery

Henry "H.T" Wagner died following the April 1, 2017 incident.

DENVER — It's been four years since a 56-year-old man was shot in the driveway of his home in Denver's Hilltop neighborhood.

Henry "H.T" Wagner died after being transported to a hospital from his home near the corner of East 6th Avenue Parkway and North Olive Street on April 1, 2017 at about 9:20 p.m. His home is near East 6th Avenue and Quebec Street.

A bulletin from Metro Denver Crime Stoppers says investigators believe community members have crucial information about the murder, and they are asking for anyone who might know something to come forward.

Wagner's family had donated money to bring the reward available in this case up to $25,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or visit metrodenvercrimestoppers.com. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000. 

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers are notified at the conclusion of the investigation. 

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
