Looking for new dining options in the Denver area? The past three weeks have seen several prominent restaurant openings.

Aspen restaurateurs Craig and Samantha Cordts Pearce opened Steakhouse No. 316 Friday in Boulder, adding a second location to the couple’s popular boutique steakhouse in the mountains. The 120-seat eatery just off of the Pearl Street Mall offers prime and alternative steak cuts, tuna tartare and tableside Caesar Salad, among other offerings.

Nationally acclaimed pitmaster Jason Ganahl opened his second GQue Championship BBQ location, as well as the adjoining Ice Cream Farm, on Dec. 3 in the Vistas at Park Meadows complex in Lone Tree. Following on the success of his original Westminster store, he’s added onto his classic ribs and brisket with an ice-cream store using Colorado-produced milk and cream and serving flavors ranging from "salted maple pecan" to "banana pudding."

Main Event Entertainment, a bowling-anchored dining and entertainment facility, opened its first Colorado location on Nov. 19 at 64 Centennial Boulevard in Highlands Ranch. The 50,000-square-foot center features 22 bowling lanes, laser tag, a games gallery — and classic bar food like wings, nachos and pizza.
