Five head of livestock were killed in a barn fire early Monday morning.
Brighton Fire says they were dispatched to a grass fire in the 1100-block of Weld County Road just before 2 a.m.
When firefighters arrived they found a fully-engulfed barn. The barn was a total loss and five head of livestock were lost as well.
