Rita Gutierrez-Garcia's family made an impassioned plea to the public for help finding their loved one. Longmont PD says they really need witnesses to come forward.

Rita Gutierrez-Garcia is missing. She hasn't been seen since March 18 at 2:30 a.m. in a parking lot in the 300 block of Coffman Street in Longmont, according to the Longmont Police.

She'd gone out with friends and family and after walking back to a car with them, she was reportedly on the phone and told them she'd catch a ride home with someone else.

Longmont Police said in a press conference Thursday afternoon that they need to know who she was talking to. Law enforcement is also asking for anyone else in that parking lot - they know from witness accounts several people were out there - to come forward and talk to them.

"We're doing all we can on the tech side," Jeff Satur, with the Longmont Police said. "We need the witness side to come forward."

Longmont Police have search warrants into Snapchat, since she was an avid user. Authorities said they are also trying to get her phone records, but simply tracking her phone isn't working.

"Our old standbys aren't working," Satur said.

Rita Gutierrez-Garcia has three boys - an 18-year-old, a 13-year-old and a 9-year-old. Her mother said she was going to school to become a paralegal and only had a single semester left.

"Any information that you have from the last night that she was out - please, please - I know somebody was there," Rita's mother, Diane, told reporters at the Thursday press conference. "Please just contact us. Please remember what she looks like."

Police said that Rita and her friends finished their night at a bar called Breakers at 380 Main St. and then walked back to the parking lot west of 3's Bar. While 3's Bar is located at 333 Main St., the parking lot is actually in the 300 block of Coffman Street. She also spent part of her night at the Speakeasy at 301 Main St.

Satur said in an email that maybe seven or eight people were in the 3's Bar parking lot that night. Those are some of the people police would really like to talk to.

Rita is described as 5-foot-7, 140 lbs. with brown hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt with black leggings. She's got tattoos on both arms and her shoulders. She has piercings in her ears - but wasn't wearing any jewelry that night. Her mother told reporters she also has tongue piercings.

Rita was last seen March 18

Her sister, Jessica, told the gathered media that a lot of people thinks she edits her photos, but that's not the case.

"She's a diva," she said. "She always has her nails done, she likes to look good. People think she Photoshops her eyes but they're just big and beautiful."

She added that Rita loved to go jogging at McIntosh Lake in the mornings. She would also go to the fairgrounds.

"She's really good at cooking Italian food," Jessica added.

Jessica called Rita her soulmate and begged for her to get in touch with someone in their family.

Police and Rita's family pointed out how strange it was that she hadn't posted on Snapchat or gotten in touch with anyone in her family. She reportedly always posted to the social media platform and texted all day with family.

Since March 18, no one's heard from her.

Anyone with information about her disappearance is asked to call 303-651-8501 immediately.
