Aleppo is a world away, and right around the corner.
It's where a Metro State student named Obeid Kaiffo sits in his family's restaurant in Denver.
Kaiffo's parents were born in Syria. He's already lost several members of his family, who still lived there.
As the country is torn apart by war, Kaiffo wonders whether the world cares about the people he loves.
We caught up with him to hear his perspective. You can watch that above.
