It’s a sign!
Next viewer David Wood in Snowmass Village spotted a new town sign installed by Public Works last week.
Like the last one, it includes the elevation (8,410), population (2,863) and the year it was incorporated (1977).
But the most fascinating piece of information on the sign: the number of dogs registered - 210.
“We wanted to keep the tradition of being funky and funny – we just thought it’d be fun,” said Travis Elliott of Snowmass Village.
The exact number of dogs in Snowmass Village is unclear but the number of dogs registered in the town is certain.
Elliott apologizes to the cat people, but he hasn't heard from the cat constituency.
