Repairs to U.S. 36, between the towns of Lyons and Estes Park, began in the spring of 2014. This project was the first project to move forward of the state's large-scale, long-term plan to develop and construct permanent repairs for flood-affected infrastructure, according to the governor's office.

On Monday, the governor and the executive director will also discuss what is ahead for the U.S. 36 corridor between Lyons and Estes Park and other flood affected areas over the next three to five years.
