DENVER — Ashley Moore is the Preps Sports Reporter and Multi-Skilled Journalist at 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado.
Ashley joined 9NEWS Sports in July 2023, after spending five years in her home market at KYTX in East Texas.
Growing up in the Mecca for high school football, Ashley found a love for sports very early on. She played basketball and WISHED she could play football in high school, but her mom said no, which is why the emergence of H.S. flag football in Colorado excites her.
While in Tyler, Ashley spent years covering some of the most-recruited athletes in the country from both her alma mater, Longview, and the surrounding schools. Fun fact: Ashley's small-town high school, Longview, has had the most football players head to the NFL out of any school in the state of Texas, so she knows her stuff!
Ashley is a PROUD graduate from the University of Houston (undergrad) — go Coogs! She received her master's degree from THE Newhouse college at Syracuse University.
