Bon Jovi’s concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver has been canceled after the show had originally been rescheduled from March 14 to April 14.

Ticket holders were informed Friday via email.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Bon Jovi concert scheduled for Friday, April 14 at Pepsi Center in Denver, CO, has been canceled," the message read.

Bon Jovi has been battling bronchitis for more than a week. He was forced to cut short a concert in Pittsburgh by nearly an hour on Wednesday.

The band is best known for hits including "You Give Love A Bad Name," ''Livin' On A Prayer" and "Wanted Dead Or Alive."

Fort Collins band, The Patti Fiasco, was scheduled to open the Denver show. They had won a contest Bon Jovi held in each city of his tour, looking for local talent to open for him.

According to the Pepsi Center website, tickets purchased online or by phone will be refunded automatically. All other tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
