Hootie & the Blowfish announce new album, Colorado tour stop

Hootie & The Blowfish and Barnaked Ladies will perform at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre in July 2019. The band will also release its first album in 15 years.

KUSA — For the first time in over a decade, Hootie & the Blowfish are hitting the road for a national tour.

The pop-rock band will visit 44 cities, including Denver, on their 2019 "Group Therapy Tour," the band announced Monday.

Hootie & the Blowfish will stop at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre in Denver on Thursday, July 11, 2019. Special guests Barenaked Ladies will also be performing.

Citi cardmembers can access early presale tickets on Monday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. at CitiPrivatePass.com.

General ticket sales begin Friday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. at AXS.com.

Hootie & the Blowfish, comprised of Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, Darius Rucker and Jim “Soni” Sonefeld, will release their sixth album in 2019, their first album of new material in 15 years.

The band's album "Cracked Rear View" is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2019. The album has been certified by the RIAA as 21x Platinum and the fifth-most certified studio album of all time.
