The Black Keys to bring 'International Players Tour' to Denver

Formed in Ohio in 2001, The Black Keys are singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney.

DENVER — The Black Keys announced a new 31-date concert tour on Monday.

The rock duo will launch "International Players Tour" on Sept. 17 in Oklahoma. The North American tour features 31 dates in support of their new album "Ohio Players."

The Head and The Heart will be joining the tour as direct support for select shows.

The tour will make a Denver stop at Ball Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024.

American Express card members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Tuesday, April 2, at 10 a.m. through Thursday, April 4, at 10 p.m. 

General ticket sales open Friday, April 5, at 10 a.m. at livenation.com and theblackkeys.com.

Ahead of this leg of the tour, The Black Keys will head to Europe to debut their new live show.

Home to the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth, Ball Arena opened in downtown Denver on Oct. 1, 1999, with a sold-out concert by Celine Dion.

Formerly known as the Pepsi Center, the arena seats up to 20,000 for concerts and other events. Ball Arena hosts more than 250 events each year.
