Vampire Weekend announces US tour, Colorado stop

Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, Chris Baio and Chris Tomson will bring the "Only God Was Above Us" tour to Colorado.

MORRISON, Colo. — Ezra Koenig, Chris Baio and Chris Tomson are hitting the road this summer and fall.

Vampire Weekend announced a 39-date "Only God Was Above Us" North American concert tour Friday morning.

The tour will stop at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver on Friday, July 19.

The tour will feature a selection of various acts including LA LOM, The English Beat, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Mike Gordon, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Ra Ra Riot, Princess featuring Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum, Cults, a DJ Set By Mark Ronson, Turnstiles and The Brothers Macklovitch.

Fans can sign up for early access to the band’s presales at vampireweekend.com. Those presales start Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m.

Citi cardmembers will have presale ticket access beginning Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. until Thursday, Feb. 22, at 10 p.m. at citientertainment.com.

General ticket sales begin Friday, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m. at vampireweekend.com.

In honor of their highly anticipated fourth studio album, Vampire Weekend brought their "Father of the Bride" tour to Austin to a sold-out crowd at ACL Live at the Moody Theater on Aug. 20, 2019.

Owned and operated by the City of Denver, the concert venue at Red Rocks Park has been home to some of the most iconic concerts in history, from artists such as The Beatles, U2 and Sting.

Located just west of the Mile High City, Red Rocks Park features 738 acres of hiking trails, geological wonders and astounding views.
