KUSA — Both of the Denver concerts on the Aubrey and The Three Migos tour have been postponed along with several other tour stops in the United States and Canada.
According to Altitude Tickets' website, Sunday's show was postponed to a date that hasn't yet been announced. Just hours later, Saturday's show was also postponed with no date announced.
A spokesperson for Drake released the following statement about the sudden schedule change:
"In order to deliver the high standard tour experience our fans expect and deserve, we have made the necessary decision to slightly adjust the beginning of the Aubrey & the Three Migos tour schedule.
The tour will now kick off in Kansas City on August 10th, with a limited number of additional shows being rescheduled. Tickets purchased for the original show dates will be honored for the rescheduled dates."
Drake's "In My Feelings", a song from his newly-released album Scorpion, recently topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week in a row.
One of the Migos, Offset, was arrested last week in Georgia on gun charges. The rapper, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, also welcomed a baby girl into the world with fiancee Cardi B in early July.
TMZ reports that the change in schedule does not have to do with Offset's recent arrest.
Complete changes made to tour schedule:
- Kansas City, MO rescheduled to August 10th
- St Paul, MN rescheduled to August 12th
- Toronto, ON rescheduled to August 20th, 21st, 22nd
- Salt Lake City, UT rescheduled October 10th
- Denver, CO , July 28th and 29th postponed, date TBC
- Scheduled August 20th show in Chicago will be canceled.
