David Byrne of Talking Heads to perform at Red Rocks

David Byrne of Talking Heads will close out his world tour with a show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Promoting his solo album American Utopia, Byrne will hit the road in March and travel to more than 70 cities before playing the iconic Colorado venue on August 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Byrne will be joined on stage by a twelve-piece band in what he calls “the most ambitious show I’ve done since the shows that were filmed for Stop Making Sense.”

Tickets go on sale January 19 at 10 a.m. General admission seats are $50.00 plus fees, and reserved tickets range from $61.50 to $94.50 plus fees.

All online tickets purchases also include a copy of Byrne’s new album.

As the founding member of Talking Heads, fans can also expect to hear classic songs from that catalog too.

The band is best known for hits like “Once in a Lifetime,” “And She Was,” “Road to Nowhere,” “This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody),” and “Burning Down the House.”
