DENVER — Rush Bowls has announced it will open its second location in Denver.

The Boulder-based fast-casual franchise will unveil its second location in the Mile High City on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1580 Blake St. in Lower Downtown.

Located just blocks from Coors Field, the 1,250-square-foot restaurant is the sixth Rush Bowls location in Colorado. Other storefronts can be found in Arvada, Broomfield, Denver, Fort Collins and Thornton.

Founded in Boulder in 2004, Rush Bowls is known for its blended fruit and veggie bowls, smoothies and grab-and-go protein bites. The new Blake Street storefront will also have specialty products for dogs.

On its grand opening Saturday in LoDo, Rush Bowls said it will donate 10% of sales to Kenzi’s Causes, a nonprofit organization that supports underprivileged children and their families in Colorado.

"Opening week is finally here for Rush Bowls Blake Street. My wife and I are grateful to see this dream come to life, especially in an area we love," said Rush Bowls Blake Street franchise owner Ian Turpen. "As we open our doors, we also welcome a partnership with a local organization that we’re honored to work with Kenzi’s Causes. We look forward to serving Denver in more ways than one."

Pick-up and delivery options will be available, including online ordering, via the Rush Bowls mobile app.

"Our growth here in Denver is incredible to watch," said Andrew Pudalov, Rush Bowls CEO and founder. "We’re grateful to have franchisees like Ian who want to help us grow the brand in a community that we’re so passionate about. Beyond our menu, community is so important to us. We look forward to seeing each of our partnerships in Denver make an impact."
