DENVER — Your chances of finding love in the Mile High City are better than most other cities in the country, according to a new WalletHub study.
2018’s Best & Worst Cities for Singles study looked at 34 key indicators of ‘dating friendliness’ and compared more than 180 cities in the country.
Atlanta, Georgia snagged the number one spot, while Denver ranked number two overall on the list.
To come up with the rankings, WalletHub looked at a variety of factors involving economics, recreation and dating opportunities.
Denver’s amount of single people, average cost of restaurants, and nightlife options per capita also played a role in the rankings.
Here’s how the dating scene in Denver measured up in other indicators:
- 13th – Nightlife options per capita
- 18th – Restaurants per capita
- 31st – Mobile dating opportunities
- 54th – Online dating opportunities
- 62nd – Share of singles
- 96th – Crime rate
