Ah, Denver! You're next to the Rocky Mountains, home to some of the best craft brewers in the state — and now you're also the fourth most exciting food city in 2017.
That's according to a new report from Zagat, which ranked the "30 Most Exciting Food Cities in America 2017," dining destinations of all sized from coast to coast.
Denver was called out especially for the numerous restaurant openings it saw in 2017, as well as the many that are slated to open alongside luxury and boutique hotels in the coming year.
"Nearly every established chef or restaurateur of the past several years either launched or is about to launch a new, landscape-changing hot spot," said Zagat Denver restaurant critic and writer Ruth Tobias.
