Colorado’s top 50 most wanted

VIEW TOP 50 DENVER – Authorities released the names and photos of the top 50 fugitives in the state Saturday afternoon.

It is the twelfth year the Denver Police Department has taken part in the Top 50 Round-up.Beginning at 7 a.m., about 100 officers from eight different agencies will take part in the round-up, which will last until 7 p.m.Police say they fugitives in the top 50 are violent criminals wanted for crimes such as murder, sex assault on a child and escape.Authorities say the fugitives were put on the list because they have been the most difficult to arrest and so far have eluded capture.Anyone with any information on any of Colorado's 50 most wanted are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.Tipsters, who can remain anonymous, can earn a cash award for tips leading to an arrest and conviction.Police say not to attempt to apprehend any of the fugitives.
