KUSA — Nebraska State Patrol troopers seized 114 pounds of marijuana in an I-80 traffic stop near Lincoln.
A trooper observed a 2018 Ford Expedition following too closely to the vehicle in front of it at approximately 9:20 a.m. Monday.
When the SUV was pulled over near mile marker 397, the trooper smelled the odor of marijuana. A subsequent search uncovered several duffel bags filled with vacuum-sealed marijuana and two dextroamphetamine pills.
The 114 pounds of marijuana has an estimated street value of $342,000, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.
Tzeghai Sayetu-Hazell, 32, of East Point, Georgia, was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and no Drug Tax stamp.
