The suspect was with a chocolate lab possibly named Nacho when he attacked the man earlier this week in Denver.

DENVER — A man with a dog possibly named "Nacho" is being sought in connection with the attack of an 84-year-old man in Denver earlier this week, according to a bulletin from Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.

The victim was walking south in the 1000 block of North Corona Street on Feb. 17 when he was attacked between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m., the bulletin says. That's near the intersection of East 10th Avenue and Corona Street, a couple of blocks west of Cheesman Park.

He was seriously hurt.

The suspect is a white man in his 20s or 30s with a stocky build, according to the Denver Police Department (DPD). He was wearing a light green or gray parka, a dark-colored stocking cap and jeans.

He left the area eastbound on East 11th Avenue with a dog, DPD said. Witnesses described the dog as possible a chocolate lab named "Nacho" or something similar.
