No suspect is in custody after a shooting Sunday evening in Denver that sent one man to a nearby hospital with injuries that weren't believed to be life-threatening, police said.
According to a spokesperson for the Denver Police Department, a man was shot around 5:11 p.m. along the 3600 block of Niagara Street in the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood. The shooting appears to be the result of an altercation between two people, the spokesperson said.
Officers are on scene and investigation the shooting, according to a tweet from the department. No suspect description is available at the time of this writing.
