BENNETT, Colo. — A teen has been arrested in connection with a string of thefts from vehicles in the Town of Bennett, the Adams County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.

The agency said it received 43 complaints between June 11 and June 12 from residents who said their vehicles were broken into and items were stolen.

After an investigation, a 16-year-old suspect was arrested and then charged in connection with all of the incidents, the Sheriff's Office said.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is reminding citizens to lock their vehicles and remove items of value from their vehicles overnight whenever possible.
