An 18-year-old is in custody after a shooting in Denver's Montbello neighborhood that left two people dead and critically wounded another.
Police say they learned of the shooting in the 13100 block of E Elgin Place at around 6:25 p.m. Saturday.
They originally tweeted that one person had been taken to the hospital for treatment, and tweeted an hour later that it was a homicide. Just before 9 p.m., police tweeted that it was a double homicide, with another person being treated for critical injuries.
Octavio Morales has been taken into custody in connection to the shooting. It's unclear at this time what charges he could face.
