COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The parents of a 15-year-old from Colorado Springs reported her missing to the police a month ago and need the public's help in finding her.

Lia Conace was last seen at her home in Colorado Springs and her parents believe that she was heading to Indiana to meet someone she knows – who is also a minor.

Police in Jefferson County, Indiana took a report from Lia's parents on Feb. 17 and looked for her at the last known address of the acquaintance she knows, but Lia was not there. The child told police they have not seen or spoken to Lia since she was reported missing.

Officers also reached out to Lia's friends who said she has not responded to any messages and has not reached out to family members.

According to a news release from the Colorado Springs Police Department, "Additional case-specific facts have led investigators to be concerned for her welfare."

Lia is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and 120 pounds, with brown shoulder-length hair, brown eyes and a round face.
