DENVER — One person is dead after a crash between a car and a bicycle in southwest Denver.
According to police, the crash happened at around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The bicyclist died, and the driver stayed at the scene. Eastbound Hampden Avenue was shut down from Sheridan Boulevard to Lowell Boulevard while officers investigated the crash.
A police spokesperson said it's too early to say whether the driver will face any charges. No information about the driver or the bicyclist has been released.
