Online ads to fill jobs in Colorado declined in January from the previous month, snapping a four-month streak of big want-ad gains.

That’s according to the latest monthly Help Wanted OnLine report from The Conference Board Inc., issued today.

Colorado saw a net decrease of 1,600 online want this month from December levels, for a new total of 127,000.

But that followed month-over-month job-ad gains each of the previous four months: 10,700 in December, 2,100 in November, 1,300 in October and 4,300 ads in September. Over the last year, Colorado job ads have increased by a net 4,300, according to Conference Board said.
